Affectionately known as the V&A, it's named after Queen Victoria and her royal consort Prince Albert. It is full of curious objects that capture the history of civilizations, from statues and jewelry, rugs, and ironwork, to fashion through the ages. Their permanent collection spans 5000 years of history with over 2 million items, and their special collections are a delight.
