GENERAL INFORMATION
In 1995, competitive swimmers and triathletes Pam Weekes and Connie McDonald the ultimate chocolate chip walnut cookie to give them energy during triathlon training. This blossomed into Levain Bakery. Their cookies are baked fresh daily, and leftovers are donated each evening. Their chocolate chip walnut cookie is divine!

74th Street was the original location and is tiny. Go early as the secret is out and there are often long lines down the block! You can also pop around the corner to their more spacious outpost on Amsterdam between 76/77 Street.
