DETAILS
GENERAL INFORMATION
A ruined church in the City of London that was first damaged in the Great Fire of 1666, then bombed during WWII. It is now a public garden.
Insider Tip
Word of its beauty has gotten around, so it can get quite busy, even on weekends when the City of London all but shuts down. Early autumn mornings are the best time to visit.
One of the few remaining casualties of the London Blitz, this destroyed church has become an enchanting public garden.
