Located right on the Royal Mile, the Museum of Edinburgh offers an incredible look at the history of the city. In fact, this is an excellent starting point for your vacation so you have a better understanding as you explore more of Edinburgh!

Insider Tip

Take a right as you exit the museum and cross the street. Just a few steps down the Mile, you’ll see Dunbar’s Close on the left. Step in for a serene, secluded, not-so-secret garden!
