These beautiful grounds are free to explore with the exception of the greenhouses. You can enjoy a long walk from the city center along the Water of Leith, or there are several buses headed this way.

Right next door is Inverleith Park, which is a great spot for kids to run free and there are also usually nesting swans in the pond in springtime.
