An art deco landmark from 1935, offering visitors a high-tech planetarium, public telescopes, and panoramic views of Downtown LA, the Los Angeles Basin, Hollywood, and the Pacific Ocean.

Entry is free, with a modest fee if you want to see the programs in the Samuel Oschin Planetarium. Mondays the site is closed, but Tuesdays through Fridays it’s open from 12 noon to 10 pm, and on weekends it’s open from 10 am to 10 pm.
