GENERAL INFORMATION

There are no circus tents here. Piccadilly Circus is actually a major, circular intersection in London’s Westminster district with an electric, big city feel. In this case, “circus” comes from the Latin word meaning circle.

Insider Tip

If you take the Tube here and get off at the Piccadilly Circus stop, there are multiple exits from the underground, and each places you at a different point in the circle above and offers a unique few of the bright, colorful billboards and buildings that surround the space.
