GENERAL INFORMATION
A City of Bath World Heritage site, the Roman Baths in the namesake city of Bath, England, are one of the best preserved religious spas of the ancient world. Although you can’t actually swim in them, there is a museum on-site and visitors can view the ruins up close while walking the original Roman paths.

The museum is very comprehensive and seeing the baths themselves was like taking a step back in time - especially with the help of the actor dressed as a Roman merchant!

Hot springs have drawn people here since prehistoric times, so it's...appropriate to begin an exploration of Bath at this excellent museum on the site of the ancient city's primary "watering hole."
