GENERAL INFORMATION

Designed by famous British architect Sir Christopher Wren, St Paul’s Cathedral was constructed in the 17th century. It has hosted everything from royal weddings, state funerals (including Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher), to seasonal concerts.

Insider Tip

Walk up to the dome with a friend to put the whispering gallery to the test. Lean into the wall and whisper secrets to each other from opposite sides of the dome. There is an entrance fee for tourists but access is free for worshippers.
