GENERAL INFORMATION
A small town near Naples with fascinating archaeological ruins. Formerly called Resina, it lies at the western foot of Mount Vesuvius and was built on the volcanic ash from the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 A.D. which destroyed the prior city.
