GENERAL INFORMATION

Officially Elizabeth Tower, Big Ben is the name of the Great Bell of the clock inside, but when most people, including locals, mention Big Ben, they are referring to the entire structure.

Insider Tip

Cross Westminster Bridge and head to the park at St. Thomas’ Hospital across the river for the best view - and best photographs - of this London landmark.
