Established in 1885, Borough Market is the oldest fruit and veg market in England. It's still buzzing today and a destination for foodies, with upmarket eateries and organic food stalls selling everything from aged French cheese to luxury doughnuts.

A gourmand’s paradise, this fruit and vegetable market was almost shut down but now flourishes as a hive of fresh produce and baked goods with an emphasis on meals to be eaten then and there.
